A new beginning

Updated: Nov 8, 2020

The full Blue moon just went to bed. I watched her nestle into the clouds above St. Thomas, sinking into the fading dark only to be swallowed by the jagged green hillsides and sweetness of a sunny day. She blessed the cup of water I had put out the night before and surrounded with my crystals of clarity, vision, abundance, compassion and balance. According to the interpreters of the stars (aka astrologers) this full moon invites change and transformation into my home for the time ahead. Fitting...

It's our last day on St. John. This island has been our beautiful limbo, sitting above the villas that dot the hills and coast below. The birdsong, coqui chirring, and roosters have met me every morning with the symphony of their delight. This Great House has been a sanctuary of comfort, ease and steadfast observation after shedding the fatigue of our move, the heartache of goodbyes, the grief of an ending. Later today, we will be taking the Big Red Barge across the bay to Red Hook and then winding our way with the dogs, cat and kids to Harmony Villa in Mahogany Run on St. Thomas.

Our new home, one with someone else's design and vision, will face the island Hans Lollik. A Fantasy Island doppleganger, though uninhabited, with a dreamy white sand beach and untouched landscape. We won't have the stirrings of trucks and cars below nor the view of the ferry trails and northern focused freighters, rather we will be spread out 100 yards above the sea with the southern sky as our home screen. They say that St. Thomas is the busier, more commercial island; the Manhattan to the suburb of St. John, the upstate of St. Croix. We shall see.

So, here we go- a new adventure; a new start; another chapter. Harmony... Transformation... Intention... With my cleansed crystals and moon water- we begin. November 1, 2020.
